References to “CKLS”, “we”, “us” or “our” refer to Commercial Kitchen and Laundry Solutions UK Ltd.
2. Scope of These Terms
- 2.1 These Terms apply to all orders placed through our website, by email, by telephone, or by any other means.
- 2.2 CKLS primarily supplies goods and services to business customers (B2B).
- 2.3 Where a purchaser is acting as a consumer, additional statutory rights will apply as set out in Section 19 of these Terms. Consumer rights under UK law will take precedence over any conflicting provisions.
- 2.4 By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
3. Business and Consumer Status
- 3.1 During checkout, customers may be asked to confirm whether they are purchasing as:
- A business customer; or
- A consumer
- 3.2 If you purchase goods for purposes relating to your trade, business or profession, you are deemed to be a business customer.
- 3.3 If you purchase goods for personal use and not in connection with any business, you are deemed to be a consumer.
- 3.4 Where business customer status is declared, consumer protection rights such as cooling-off periods will not apply.
4. Orders and Contract Formation
- 4.1 All orders are subject to acceptance by CKLS.
- 4.2 An order is not deemed accepted until:
- We issue a written order confirmation, or
- Goods are dispatched, whichever occurs first.
- 4.3 CKLS reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including but not limited to:
- Pricing errors
- Stock unavailability
- Suspicion of fraud
- Delivery restrictions
- 4.4 Any quotation provided by CKLS is valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
5. Pricing
- 5.1 All prices are shown in GBP and exclude VAT unless expressly stated.
- 5.2 Delivery, installation, and additional services are charged separately unless specifically included in writing.
- 5.3 CKLS reserves the right to amend prices at any time prior to order acceptance.
- 5.4 In the event of a pricing error, CKLS is under no obligation to supply goods at the incorrect price.
6. Payment Terms
- 6.1 Payment must be made in full prior to dispatch unless a credit account has been approved.
- 6.2 We accept payment by:
- Bank transfer
- Credit/debit card
- Approved finance or leasing arrangements
- 6.3 Credit account terms (where approved) are strictly 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed.
- 6.4 CKLS reserves the right to charge interest and recover costs on late payments in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
7. Delivery
- 7.1 CKLS delivers to UK mainland addresses only.
- 7.2 Delivery method will depend on the size and weight of the product and may include:
- Small parcel courier
- Pallet network
- Specialist transport
- 7.3 Standard delivery is to ground floor kerbside access unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- 7.4 The customer is responsible for ensuring:
- Adequate access
- Suitable unloading facilities
- Correct delivery information
- 7.5 Failed deliveries due to customer error or site restrictions may incur additional charges.
- 7.6 Delivery dates are estimates only and not guaranteed.
8. Risk and Ownership
- 8.1 Risk in goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
- 8.2 Title to goods remains with CKLS until full payment has been received.
- 8.3 Until ownership passes, the customer must:
• Store goods safely
• Not resell or modify goods
• Allow CKLS to recover goods if payment is not made
9. Installation Services
- 9.1 Where CKLS provides installation, the scope of works will be as detailed in the quotation or order confirmation.
- 9.2 Unless specifically agreed, installation includes:
- Delivery
- Unpack and positioning
- Connection to existing services within 1 metre
- 9.3 The customer is responsible for ensuring:
- Services are in the correct location
- Site is ready and accessible
- Any required building works are completed
- 9.4 Abortive visits or delays caused by site conditions may be chargeable.
10. Product Specifications
- 10.1 Product images and descriptions are provided for guidance only.
- 10.2 Manufacturers may change specifications without notice.
- 10.3 CKLS is not liable for minor variations in appearance, colour, or specification.
11. Warranties
- 11.1 All goods are supplied with the manufacturer’s warranty.
- 11.2 Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer.
- 11.3 Warranties typically exclude:
- Misuse
- Incorrect installation by third parties
- Lack of maintenance
- Blockages or consumable items
- 11.4 Full details are set out in our separate Warranty Policy.
12. Returns – Business Customers
- 12.1 Orders placed by business customers are non-cancellable and non-returnable unless agreed in writing.
- 12.2 Special order, bespoke, or made-to-order items cannot be returned.
- 12.3 Any returns accepted at CKLS discretion may be subject to:
- Restocking fees
- Return carriage costs
13. Liability
- 13.1 CKLS shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profit
- Loss of business
- Consequential losses
- Downtime or business interruption
- 13.2 CKLS liability shall in all cases be limited to the value of the goods supplied.
- 13.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
14. Force Majeure
CKLS shall not be liable for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Supplier delays
- Transport issues
- Industrial action
- Extreme weather
15. Complaints

We aim to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
17. Consumer Purchases – Additional Rights
This section applies only where the purchaser is a consumer.
- 17.1 Consumers have the right to cancel most online purchases within 14 days of delivery under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
- 17.2 Refunds will be issued within 14 days of goods being returned.
- 17.3 The consumer is responsible for return costs unless goods are faulty.
- 17.4 The following items are excluded from cancellation rights:
• Goods made to customer specifications
• Installed equipment
• Sealed goods opened after delivery - 17.5 Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory consumer rights.
