Service cover built around your business

From ad hoc support to fully inclusive maintenance agreements, we tailor cover around your equipment, site requirements and budget. Choose the level of support you need, with the option to include planned maintenance as part of your agreement.

Compliance

Certificates and service sheets all in one place.

  • Annual gas safety for your commercial kitchen and laundry appliances.
  • F-Gas records and leak checks where applicable.
  • Service reports recording works completed and any recommendations.
  • Inventories taken with age and condition rating.
  • Extract and duct cleaning, with TR19 certification provided where applicable.
  • Automatic renewal reminders to assist administrators.
What actually fails

Small issues can become expensive breakdowns.

Many equipment failures are preceded by wear, scale, blocked filters, poor airflow or other issues that can be identified during routine servicing. Planned maintenance gives us the opportunity to spot and address problems before they result in unnecessary downtime.

Multi-site

One contract across every building

Care groups, hotel groups and school trusts get one register, one report format and one number to call, rather than a different local contractor per site.

  • Planned servicing across every site, managed under one agreement.
  • Kitchen, refrigeration and laundry on one contract, not three suppliers and three invoices.
  • Consistent reporting that a regional or estates manager can actually compare.
  • Replacement planning from the asset register, so capital spend is forecast rather than reactive.
  • UK-wide coverage through our network of fully qualified engineers.
  • One point of contact who knows the estate.

Questions

Before you sign anything

How much does a service contract cost?

Every service agreement is tailored to the site and the level of cover required. Pricing will depend on factors such as the equipment covered, its age and condition, service requirements and whether you choose call-out and labour cover, parts cover or planned maintenance.

Agreements can be structured around a fixed monthly fee, giving you predictable maintenance costs throughout the year.

Will you cover equipment you did not supply?

Yes. We can service and maintain equipment whether it was supplied by CKLS or another provider. Where we’re taking on an existing site, we’ll review the equipment and its condition before agreeing the scope of cover, with any existing faults or exclusions identified from the outset.

How often should equipment be serviced?

It depends on the equipment, how heavily it is used, manufacturer recommendations and any applicable compliance requirements. We assess this when putting your maintenance plan together and agree suitable service intervals for each type of equipment on site. Gas safety inspections are required annually.

Does a contract include parts?

It can. Our maintenance agreements are tailored to the level of cover you need. You can choose call-out and labour cover with parts charged separately, or an agreement that includes call-out, labour and agreed replacement parts within the monthly fee. Planned maintenance can also be incorporated into your cover. Any inclusions or exclusions will be clearly set out when we quote.

What happens when something breaks between visits?

Just contact CKLS as you normally would and we’ll arrange a reactive repair. Depending on your agreement, call-out, labour and parts may already be covered within your monthly fee, or charged separately where applicable.

Are contracts locked in for years?

Contract terms are agreed when we put your maintenance package together and will be clearly set out within your quotation. We’ll make sure you know exactly what’s included, how the agreement works and the applicable term before you commit.
