About this model

FX180 High Spin Washing Machine

The Primus FX180 is a heavy-duty commercial washing machine designed for professional laundries requiring larger load capacities and high-performance washing results.

With an 18kg capacity, the FX180 is well suited to care homes, hotels, leisure facilities, sports clubs and equine laundries that process larger volumes of laundry throughout the day.

Part of the Primus FX soft-mount range, the machine features a high spin extraction speed and advanced suspension system, allowing it to be installed without specialist foundations while still delivering excellent water extraction and improved drying efficiency.

The FX180 can be supplied in manual, coin-operated or cashless payment configurations, making it adaptable for a wide range of commercial laundry setups.

The washer is self-heating as standard, with the option to connect to a boiler-fed hot water supply, helping operators optimise energy efficiency depending on their facility setup.

Durable construction and powerful washing performance make the Primus FX180 an excellent choice for sites that require reliable mid-to-high capacity laundry equipment.

Delivery & installation

Kerbside to mainland UK addresses, typically 3–5 working days. Installation covers:

  • Positioning and levelling, packaging removed from site
  • Electrical connection to an existing supply, tested and certificated
  • Water and drainage connection where required
  • Commissioning, test run and cleaning cycle demonstration
  • Staff handover and documentation pack

Where the supply needs upgrading, our design team surveys first and quotes the works separately. We don't install onto a supply we haven't verified.

Warranty & service

Manufacturer warranty as standard from commissioning, with warranty work carried out by CKLS engineers rather than a third-party network. Under a service contract:

  • Planned maintenance visits, scheduled around your service times
  • 4-hour or next-day response options
  • Priority parts allocation from stock
  • Records kept for EHO and audit purposes

Planned maintenance pays for itself on equipment like this: scale, seals and water quality account for most breakdowns, and all three are preventable.
