KFK/2 Waste Disposal Cooler – 480 Litres

The Gamko KFK/2 Waste Disposal Cooler is designed to provide hygienic refrigerated storage for food waste and refuse in busy commercial kitchens, bars and foodservice environments. With a total gross capacity of 480 litres and a two-door configuration, the unit offers increased waste storage capacity compared to smaller single-bin waste coolers.

Designed to accommodate wheeled waste bins, the cabinet features a sloping floor that allows bins to be rolled in and out easily for loading and removal. The dual-compartment design enables operators to separate waste streams where required or simply increase overall waste storage capacity during busy operating periods.

A pneumatic spring-assisted lid remains open whilst waste is deposited, allowing convenient and safe operation during food preparation and service. By keeping food waste chilled, the unit helps reduce odours and supports improved hygiene standards within commercial catering environments.

Using energy-efficient R290 refrigerant, the KFK/2 combines effective cooling performance with reduced environmental impact. The cabinet is suitable for restaurants, hotels, pubs, bars, catering facilities, care homes and commercial kitchens requiring higher-capacity chilled waste storage.

Delivery & installation

Kerbside to mainland UK addresses, typically 3–5 working days. Installation covers:

Positioning and levelling, packaging removed from site
Electrical connection to an existing supply, tested and certificated
Water and drainage connection where required
Commissioning, test run and cleaning cycle demonstration
Staff handover and documentation pack

Where the supply needs upgrading, our design team surveys first and quotes the works separately. We don't install onto a supply we haven't verified.

Warranty & service

Manufacturer warranty as standard from commissioning, with warranty work carried out by CKLS engineers rather than a third-party network. Under a service contract:
